Dr. Madigan-Swant received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1991, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List. She was also the recipient of the Bausch & Lomb Scholorship Award, recognizing achievements in the area of contact lenses, she was also a member of Beta, Signa, Kappa an International Optometric Honor Fraternity. Dr. Hamill graduated from the University of Waterloo's School of Optometry program in 2012 after completing a 4 year Honours Biomedical Science degree at the same university in 2008. Originally from Bala, Ontario, he recently moved to the Ottawa River Valley after completing a student placement at Heritage Optometric Clinic. Dr. Dedhar is very excited to have joined the wonderful team at Heritage Optometric and to be back in his hometown of Ottawa. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at Carleton University in 2007, he went on to complete a second Bachelor of Science in Ophthalmic Medical Technology at the University of Ottawa Eye Institute in 2009. Dr. Chase obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta in 2012 before moving to Ontario to pursue a degree in Optometry, graduating on the Dean’s Honours list from the University of Waterloo in 2016. In his final year of Optometric studies, Dr. Chase completed a four-month ocular disease rotation at an Ophthalmology care centre in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta.
